Join us in the Bay Area for a special screening of 《大濛 A Foggy Tale》, a powerful Taiwanese period drama set during the White Terror era. Spanning the 1950s (1951–1960), the film portrays the everyday lives, moral tensions, and social atmosphere experienced by ordinary people under authoritarian rule.

The title 《大濛》 echoes the Taiwanese phrase 「罩雺（Tà-bông）」, meaning fog—a recurring visual and metaphorical motif throughout the film. Clouds, mist, and partial visibility become ways of sensing fear, ambiguity, and endurance under political repression.
